They don’t care if AB-PA solves the pathology. That’s not relevant to them. Only they are allowed to solve the pathology. It’s their game – it’s their pathology. I’m the outsider. I’m not part of their club. How dare I come in and just solve the pathology.

Even through AB-PA offers tens of thousands of children and families a solution to their nightmare, the Gardnerian PAS experts are willing to sacrifice your children to the pathology rather than allow AB-PA to solve the pathology.

The Gardnerian PAS “experts” are the (semi-conscious) colluding allies of the pathogen who are disabling the mental health system response to the pathology. The pathogen has access to them through their narcissistic self-inflation around being “experts” and it uses this entry point to motivate them into continuing to push an abundantly flawed and completely failed diagnostic model of the pathology that will never in a million years solve the pathology.

I find the willingness of the Gardnerian PAS “experts” to sacrifice children and families to the pathology rather than support a solution that doesn’t involve Gardnerian PAS — to be morally reprehensible.

People complain that the system is rigged. For family law attorneys. For court involved mental health professionals.
The Gardnerian PAS “experts” are part of that failed system. Thirty years – no solution. Why? There’s a reason for that. The Gardnerian PAS “experts” didn’t want a solution, they wanted to be “experts.”
I came from outside the system. Look what I did. Returned to the standard and established principles of professional psychology and diagnosed the pathology. In 30 years, they never diagnosed the pathology using standard and established constructs and principles of professional psychology.
They don’t want things to change. They’re “experts” and they like being “experts.” They want everything to remain exactly as it is.
Even if that means that more children and more families are sacrificed to the pathology.

I knew the pathogen would attack once it recognized the threat I posed to it. The threat? I can see it.
I had always anticipated the attack would come from the Silberg-Meier contingent of Anti-Gardnerians. I was wrong. It’s from the Gardnerian PAS “experts” – wow, whaddya know.
It’s the Gardnerian PAS “experts” who are the enabling allies of the pathogen. It’s the Gardnerian PAS “experts” who are clogging up and disabling the mental health response to the pathology.
The Gardnerian PAS “experts” don’t want AB-PA to ever see the light of day.
Why are they so afraid of AB-PA? A: They are afraid that AB-PA is going to solve the pathology – and they are right to be afraid because AB-PA will solve the pathology.
They are afraid that AB-PA will solve the pathology, so they don’t want AB-PA to ever see the light of day.
The pathogen is afraid that AB-PA will solve the pathology, so it doesn’t want AB-PA to ever see the light of day.
Dorcy had her flying monkey overt allies of the pathogen who sought to discredit her and prevent the solution she holds from ever seeing the light of day – and I’ve got my Gardnerian “experts” covert enabling allies of the pathogen who will similarly try to prevent AB-PA from ever seeing the light of day – (somehow the image of flying Gardnerians is a little off-putting).
The battle is now. I’m on the battlefield with the pathogen now.

They don’t want mental health professionals to know about AB-PA, they don’t want mental health professionals to use AB-PA.
They don’t want AB-PA to ever see the light of day.
The Gardnerian PAS “experts” and I have different goals when it comes to “parental alienation.” I want to solve it. They want to remain “experts.”
I am on the battlefield right now, fighting for your children. We must achieve professional competence in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of your children and families. To accomplish this, we must return to the standard and established path of professional psychology.
The Gardnerian PAS model invites – invites – rampant professional ignorance and incompetence. Want proof – look around you. Thirty years of the Gardnerian PAS diagnostic model has given us exactly what you see.
The Gardnerians want to bury AB-PA so that the same status quo can continue, and continue, and continue – they’re “experts” and they like being “experts.” Everything needs to remain just the way it is. We’re “experts” and we’re fighting a heroic fight for children and families. Don’t disturb us by actually solving the pathology.

Dr Childress, your work has helped me greatly to understand at a meta level what has happened within the story I am part of. For that I will always be grateful.
Karen Woodall and her work has helped me just as much in terms of understanding, and much more in terms of accessing a network of support from similar parents and step parents.
However I feel I have to say I am horrified and offended by your statement “the Gardnerian PAS experts are willing to sacrifice your children to the pathology rather than allow AB-PA to solve the pathology.” What an outrageous sensationalist statement. Your bombastic approach is harming people, the very people you seek to support, by encouraging side-taking and name-calling. You are harming yourself and your professional reputation, and therefore the willingness surely of those who could support the dissemination of your work, by bad mouthing your contemporaries. In a Trumpian world it feels like you’re making it too easy for readers to dismiss you as a loud mouthed opinionated American telling everyone they know best.
Whilst I can’t speak for others as I haven’t read their current writings, I do know that Karen Woodall references and utilises many of the underlying theories that you pull into the AB-PA portfolio, in assessing the children and families she is working with. It is too simplistic by far to divide everybody into Camp Gardner and Camp AB-PA, and frankly disingenuous professionally to do so. Your work is very valuable and there are many ways to make professional collaborations work, but they generally aren’t helped by seeking to denigrate everybody else’s working histories and processes, and smash everybody else’s reputation along the way.

I personally have had communications with these self-proclaimed PAS “experts” and I personally have learned that they are working make Dr. Childress “wither away”. When they made arguments against Dr. Childress’ work, I BEGGED and BEGGED that the self-proclaimed PAS “experts” write their critiques of Dr. Childress’ work so their could be a CONSTRUCTIVE debate. The self-proclaimed PAS “experts” refused and continue to refuse. I know you will say that Dr. Childress will verbally “attack” them. I CALL BULL! They refused LONG ago prior to Dr. Childress personally calling them out. Read Dr. Childress’ first blogs from 2014. He knew there would be a fight from those who have for 30 years fought to discredit Dr. Gardner and those PAS supporters. He was SHOCKED when the self-proclaimed PAS “experts” secretly worked to make Dr. Childress “wither away”. Read Dr. Childress’ original blogs, he thought he built a “bridge” to finally UNITE the leadership of mental health and the PAS supporters. Dr. Childress thought the PAS supporters would be happy that PAS was finally solved on a Foundation that will hold when presented to the leadership of mental health. Unfortunately, Dr. Childress’ work also shows that these self-proclaimed PAS “experts” have been wrong and they themselves were NOT able to SOLVE this VERY complex pathology. The self-proclaimed PAS “experts” have chosen to SECRETLY work to attempt to remain “EXPERTS”, NOT write critiques of Dr. Childress work or debate him, take Dr. Childress’ work without giving him credit, and HOPE that some day the leadership of mental health will eventually accept PAS, while NOT admitting that they were ever wrong. They can NOT admit they were wrong and that they themselves were unable to SOLVE “parental alienation”, when the solution was available ALL these years while children have been abused and their lives have been destroyed.
Don’t believe me? Request any self-proclaimed PAS “expert” to write a critique of Dr. Childress’ work or debate him. Go ahead ask them. They will say we do NOT want to legitimize Dr. Childress by writing a critique or debating him. What??? Yes!!! Ask them! That is what they will say. Our children REQUIRE a CONSTRUCTIVE debate to bring forth a SOLUTION to this child ABUSE. Dr. Childress has too begged for this CONSTRUCTIVE debate. Read his original blogs.
Why would a self-proclaimed PAS “expert” say that they do NOT want to “finish” their critiques of Dr. Childress’ work or debate him, with an excuse that they do NOT want to “legitimize Dr. Childress”. That is NO legitimate excuse to me!!! CT-G, are you satisfied with that answer? Do NOT believe me? Beg the self-proclaimed PAS “experts” yourself! I already have and I know their answers. They excuse does NOT sit well with me as our children are being ABUSED worse than SEXUAL abuse.

Dr. Childress has laid out his plan. The self-proclaimed PAS “experts” refuse to layout their plan, critique, debate, or acknowledge Dr. Childress, as they fear to admit the SOLUTION has been available ALL along and they themselves did NOT see it. They fear how that will effect their reputation, so they instead SECRETLY work to make Dr. Childress “wither away” and use his work in HOPES that some day in the future the leadership of mental health will eventually accept PAS, which SECRETIVELY includes AB-PA and NO ONE learns the TRUTH.
Ask the self-proclaimed PAS “experts” to inform us ALL if Dr. Childress’ work is NOT accurate. Our CHILDREN deserve to TRUTH. They require CONSTRUCTIVE debates and critiques to STOP this abuse!!!
This PATHOLOGY thrives in the DARKNESS. Our children require OPEN debates and critiques to STOP the pathology. ANY work that is being done in the DARKNESS or in secrecy is suspicious to me!
Due to the viscous ATTACKS on Dr. Gardner, Dr. Childress KNEW he too would receive viscous ATTACKS and he prepared himself to FIGHT back the ATTACKS, as he has OPENLY. Read Dr. Childress’ original blogs. He was surprised to learn that the self-proclaimed PAS “experts” are SECRETLY working to dismantle his “BRIDGE” he built to UNITE mental health regarding “parental alienation” and Child Psychological Abuse.

I confirm what DRH is stating. I asked very nicely for the PAS experts support, to help us to help all children. They either did not respond/ignore my mails or told me to go away. I’m very sad and disappointed that the parents in Europe have to fight on their own. Shame on them! I would like to replace the word PAS “experts”, with PAS “ass……”
